I always thought this was strange. When I tab through a web form, OS X skips over select menus, forcing me to click it with the mouse. Very tedious. But I’m so lazy, it took a year and change for me to Google it. And it’s just a stupid system preference.

I feel silly writing this, but more than that I feel obliged to try and help my fellow moron.

Twice now I’ve had a DVD get stuck in my Mac Book Pro. There are several ways to force eject a CD/DVD, though my favorite (the one I remember) is to boot while holding down the mouse button. But I just figured out what my real problem was. Windows XP, running in Parallels, was mounting my DVD instead of OS X. That’s why I couldn’t mount or eject it from OS X.
