- Provide administrative support for the University Library system which includes 8 servers and 200+ end user terminals.
- Install and administer two SCO OpenServer 5 systems running Silverplatter's ERL server v2.0
- Install and administer two Windows NT 4.0 servers used for DHCP
address assignment, and network software.
- Install and maintain two Optinet IPX/SPX network CD-ROM servers.
- Install and administer two Linux systems with 30+ users used for FTP and Web access using Apache webserver.
- CGI scripting to help enhance access to Library resources through the Web.
- Diagnose problems on PC systems running MS-DOS, Windows 3.1x, and
Windows 95 with a variety of peripherals including: laser printers, scanners, CD-ROM drives, UPS's, modems, etc...
